A major prayer request before this trip was that a doctor would be available to join us. Two years ago, 40 people came on this trip, and more than 30 got really sick. Crazy. So last year, they brought a doctor and wanted to do the same this year, but to no avail. It was disappointing to have not received that answer to prayer.
Then on the plane on the way down, one of our leaders struck up a conversation with the woman next to him, and get this—she runs a ministry where she brings in 100 doctors to Rio Hondo! That’s our city! And they are staying in our hotel! God did not supply a doctor in Dallas. He supplied 100 doctors in Guatemala!!!!!! Praise the Lord!
