Another answer to prayer! Our team has been praying for translators for a long time, and we now have more than 20! I have my own translator. Her name is Pamela, she is from Mexico, and she is studying at the seminary in Guatemala City with the intent to go into missions. We have a lot in common and get along great. Instead of just repeating after me, she takes initiative in being another leader and role model for our teen girls, and I love her! She has helped me communicate with them, and I don’t know what I’d do without her!
Most all the translators are from the seminary in Guatemala City. (Many of them have heard of DTS and long to go there but can’t because of the cost.) It is fun to work side by side with brothers and sisters from other countries who have the same heart for the Lord. I have really enjoyed getting to know them.
